Selecting A Wedding Photographer
It is always a good idea to start looking for, and
even booking your photographer as soon as a wedding date has been decided upon. The first three priorities in organizing a wedding are:
1 - The location and official performing the
ceremony,
2 - the location of the reception, and
3 - your wedding photographer.
Solicit your friends and family about their experiences
with various photographers. Avoid choosing a photographer based solely on a brochure, phone
call or price. Instead you should always make an appointment to look at their
portfolio. It is vital that you meet the photographer who
will actually be taking your photographs. This will allow you to build a rapport
with him or her, and aid in achieving successful images.
Like most people, you probably feel somewhat uncomfortable having your
picture taken and much prefer the more candid approach. A good photographer can
place you at ease so the images
look entirely natural and relaxed.
There are three aspects to every successful wedding... planning,
planning and planning. When scheduling out your day, it is essential that you allow sufficient
time for the taking of photographs. It is important, though not always possible,
to have your wedding photography start early in the day. This can generate a more relaxing
event for the bride and groom. Your wedding day is one of life's
pleasures, and rushing through it should be avoided. Other things to also consider
are cooperation levels with the families and wedding party, travel time from setting to setting,
and be particularly careful during the
Autumn and Winter months planning for those little surprises in the weather.
When the wedding day arrives, all the planning and
work will pay off. It is time to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Assign a
wedding planner to carryout your wishes so you may fully enjoy the experience. The old
adage
"What will be - will be" is a great preamble for the story-telling to begin.
Mark Dillon will do his utmost to seize those special moments throughout that
